Roger Waters – Comfortably Numb 2022 (video clip) | Νέο single

H Panik Records και η Sony Music με χαρά ανακοινώνουν την κυκλοφορία του “Comfortably Numb 2022”, μια νέα έκδοση του Roger Waters στο κλασικό τραγούδι των Pink Floyd.

To iconic hit αρχικά έκανε την πρώτη του εμφάνιση στο κλασικό Pink Floyd album, ‘The Wall’.

Το “Comfortably Numb 2022” ηχογραφήθηκε την περίοδο που ο Waters έκανε συναυλίες στην Βόρεια Αμερική στο πλαίσιο της περιοδείας του ‘This Is Not A Drill’ και είναι μία παραγωγή του Roger Waters και του Gus Seyffert. Για τη δημιουργία του track συμμετέχουν οι: Roger Waters – Vocals, Gus Seyffert – Bass, Synth, Percussion, Vocals, Joey Waronker – Drums, Dave Kilminster – Vocals, Jonathan Wilson – Harmonium, Synth, Guitar και Vocals, Jon Carin – Synth, Vocals, Shanay Johnson – Vocals, Amanda Belair – Vocals, Robert Walter – Organ/Piano, Nigel Godrich – Strings, amp και επιπλέον backing vocals από τις ηχογραφήσεις που έγιναν για το ‘The Wall’ του Roger Waters.

Ο Waters σχολίασε, “Την περίοδο του Lockdown, ηχογράφησα μία demo έκδοση του ‘Comfortably Numb‘ ως εναρκτήριο τραγούδι για το νέο show ‘This Is Not A Drill’. Το κατέβασα τονικά σε A Minor, ώστε να ακούγεται πιο σκοτεινό και το ενορχήστρωσα χωρίς solo φωνητικά, πέρα από το κλείσιμο του τραγουδιού, όπου ακούγεται η συγκινητική ερμηνεία της Shanay Johnson, μία από τις πιο νέες συνεργάτιδές μου”.

Το video για το τραγούδι σκηνοθετήθηκε από τον Sean Evans και στην φωτογραφία ήταν η Kate Izor. Δείτε το video εδώ.

Η νέα περιοδεία του Roger Waters με τίτλο ‘This Is Not A Drill’ θα περάσει από την Ευρώπη το 2023 με 40 shows σε 13 χώρες, ξεκινώντας από την Λισαβώνα στις 17 Μαρτίου 2023 στο Altice Arena.
